Pardison Fontaine – Under8ed (Live)

Last week at a promo party for his new album “Under8ed,” Pardison Fontaine wore his signature orange skully, a couple gleaming chains and… a painting apron. In classic Pardi form, this was no ordinary listening bash; Instead, Pardi and a bunch of madams enjoyed an evening of sippin’ wine and painting Section 8-themed masterpieces. A bottle of Henny made an appearance. This is the Pardison Fontaine essence – loudly and proudly a product of public housing with the romantic sensibilities of Deangelo. Whether or not you know it, Pardi’s been in your ears for years. The Newburgh native has a rich curriculum vitae – a frequent collaborator with friend Cardi B, he has writing credits on smash hits “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It.” Last year, Kanye outed him as a ghostwriter on “Ye.” Pardi prefers that his voice be the one in your ears, however, so we got him in the CTRL booth, where he glided through a rendition of the title track from his new album. So smooth, and as he would say, so “spicyyyyy,”
